Dragon's Beard Candy
- 500 Gram castor sugar
- 50 Gram corn syrup
- 1/2 Teaspoon white vinegar
- 250 Mililitre water
- drop food colouring
- 2 cups cornflour
(for stretching and shaping)
- add all ingredients to a pot - don't worry about mixing
- heat until 133C without stiring
- allow to cool to 100C
- pour into silicon muffin trays
- let cool for about an hour
- punch a hole with a chopstick and slowly stretch into a large loop using lots of corn flour constantly.
- loop it into 2 rings and repeat to 16348 strands (14 times)
