Scallion pancakes
Great way to use up extra sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 2 stems spring onion
(chopped)
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seed
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Teaspoon malt vinegar
- Tip sourdough starter directly into hot oiled pan in a pancake shape
- sprinkle on spring onion, sesame seeds
- before turning over, drizzle some oil on top
- cook on medium heat until spring onion is caramalized and sesame seeds are toasted
- combine soy sauce, malt vinegar and olive oil in a dipping bowl
- cut into wedges to serve
