Ultimate Chocolate Cake

- 3 Cup self raising flour
- 2 Cup castor sugar
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3/4 Cup cocoa powder
- 2 Teaspoon baking soda
(sifted)
- 200 Gram butter
(softened)
- 1 Cup milk
- 3 egg
(large)
- 1 Cup coffee
(boiling hot)
- Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees C and grease 1x 30cm round cake tin or 2x 20cm round cake tins. Add everything to food processor and blitz till combined
- bake for 1 hour at 160 degrees or until skewer comes out clean. Allow to cool in tin.
- Cake will keep for about 1 week in a sealed container in the fridge. You can also freeze it un-iced.
I used hot drinking chocolate instead of coffee
