White Bread
- 2 Cup plain flour
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoon yeast
- 3/4 Cup cold water
- 2 Tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 Cup boiling water
- 1 egg yolk
- combine plain flour sugar salt yeast. add cold water, oil, boiling water and mix to a paste.
- stand for 2-3 minutes.
- knead for 5 minutes
- put into oiled bowl
- brush olive oil on top
- Cover, and put in warm place for 40mins
- punch middle
- knead for 5 mins
- Cover, warm place 40 mins. Gently lift out and brush with egg yolk & water mix
- 200°C for 30mins or until hollow base tapping sound
