sourdough crumpets
- 1 Cup sourdough starter
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- Add sugar and salt to sourdough starter
- Mix baking soda in a little water
- Mix everything together then let it foam and rise for a minute
- Fry on low in an oiled cookie cutter shape or similar then remove shape and flip and fry for a bit longer
- Let cool. Toast now or bag for later. Can be frozen.
