Chicken Biryani

- 300 Gram basmati rice
- 25 Gram butter
- 1 onion
(sliced)
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 cardamom pod
- 85 Gram sultanas
- 850 Mililitre chicken stock
- 1 Teaspoon ground tumeric
- 4 chicken breast
(cut into chunks)
- 2 Tablespoon curry powder
- 15 Gram fresh coriander
(chopped)
- 2 Tablespoon almond
- soak basmati rice in warm water, then rince well in cold water.
- heat butter onion bay leaf cinnamon stick and cardamom pod in a pad until onion is soft / 10 minutes
- add ground tumeric, chicken breast and curry powder, cook for a couple of minutes
- add basmati rice, raisins, chicken stock and bring to a boil
- cover and reduce heat to minimum / 5 minutes
- turn heat off / 10 minutes
- top with fresh coriander and almonds
